Women Of Will at Central Square Theater

Tina Packer has spent a lifetime studying and savoring Shakespeare's work, founding Shakespeare & Company in 1978 and directing or producing nearly all of his work. Women of Will is her masterwork, a chronological look at Shakespeare's female characters from all points of his career. You certainly do not need to be familiar with the plays from where Packer pulls her subjects as she spent her life making these plays accessible. Together with acting partner Nigel Gore, Packer will show you the story and teach you the lessons of these characters with comedy and flair. The Nora Theatre Company will present two versions of Women of Will, first staging The Overview, a two-hour condensed version of the play before they undertake the monumental five-part Complete Journey.
