Legendary explorer Ernest Shackleton reaches out across time through the internet to contact a single mother in the innovative romance Ernest Shackleton Loves Me. Joe DiPietro (I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, the longest-running musical revue in off-Broadway history) wrote the book for this inventive and intimate new musical, which comes to Paramount Center Mainstage in Boston courtesy of ArtsEmerson. Multitalented singer-songwriter-electric violinist Valerie Vigoda (Toy Story: The Musical) portrays a sleep-deprived single mom who's fired from her day job as a video game composer. Inspired by her music, the famous gentleman-explorer of the South Pole overcomes the distance between them and together they embark on a love affair adventure for the ages.
