Citizens of the Empire: A Space Opera

Boston Center for the Arts
539 Tremont Street Boston

Sci-fi fans don't have to wait in line at the multiplex to get their fill of extra-terrestrial adventure. Citizens of the Empire transports you eight hundred years into the future, where you'll meet nobleman-turned-revolutionary Marcus Kent, who must risk everything to assure the freedom of his people. Joined in his fight by a union-organizing robot, an interstellar garbage-woman and the madam of a space brothel, Marcus is driven to arms against those he once considered his friends in the Imperial Court. In this space opera by Kevin Mullins, the fates of billions hangs in the balance as idealism and despotism clash in a struggle of galactic proportions. This Boston Public Works production blasts off from Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts.
