It's a battle royal of the family kind -- the Jewish family kind -- in the breakout comedy Bad Jews as Daphna and her cousin Liam return home for their grandfather's funeral. Daphna's proud of her Jewish roots and believes that her late grandpa's cherished chai necklace should be handed down to someone who recognizes its religious significance -- namely, her. But the equally outspoken, less traditional Liam is convinced he has equal claim to the priceless heirloom. Their differing views drive the scathingly funny yet thought-provoking conflict at the core of this play hailed by The New York TImes as "the best comedy of the season" in 2013.
