Back the Night at Boston Playwrights' Theatre

Inspired by real events, this new ripped-from-the-headlines drama explores the epidemic of violence on college campuses. Back the Night revolves around a student named Em, who chooses to remain blissfully in the dark when it comes to the increase in attacks. But when her best friend is assaulted, her perceptions begin to shift as she sees things in a new and often surprising light. Boston Playwrights' Theatre stages this world premiere by award-winning dramatist and BU faculty member Melinda Lopez at the Odyssey Theatre.
