Alice in Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland

Boston Center for the Arts
539 Tremont Street Boston

Follow Alice on a particularly wild ride into an avant-garde Wonderland created by the imaginary beasts theater company for their latest production at Boston Center for the Arts. Andre Gregory, the theater director most famed as the title character in 1981's My Dinner With Andre, came up with this psychologically aware take on Alice in Wonderland in the '70s, based on Lewis Carroll's classics, and influenced by Freud, Kafka and Dali. This latest version remains as relevant as ever to our own topsy-turvy times, as it tracks Alice's adventures with the eccentric Mad Hatter, always-on-the-go White Rabbit and the hot-tempered Queen of Hearts.
