Boston Playwrights' Theatre in Boston

The Boston Playwrights Theatre is home to two small black box spaces: the Odyssey and the Walcott Theatre. New works by established and aspiring authors are showcased and tested here. Located at Boston University and a home to its playwriting MFA program, the theater also hosts the annual New Noises and Boston Theater Marathon. When BPT is not producing shows, they continue their mission of supporting new works by donating their theater space to host other New England theatre companies who are producing new plays.
