"...Around him, director Paul Daigneault has assembled a uniformly excellent ensemble of actors to bring this story vividly to life. Mark H. Dold is a standout as both E.M. Forster and Walter, projecting a wisdom that grounds the play in something real. Jared Reinfeldt is deliciously charismatic as the self-infatuated Toby Darling, bringing out the deeply damaged soul beneath Toby's preening, self-destructive exterior. At the performances I attended, Mishka Yarovoy was sweet and sensitive in the dual role of Adam and Leo for one performance; Luke Sabracos, also good, filled in as his understudy for the other performance."

"...The plot of The Inheritance is inspired by E.M. Forster's 1910 novel Howard's End. But this is far from a creaky adaptation - it is determinedly modern. Part One is set between the summers of 2015 and the spring of 2017. Part Two ends a year later. Forster himself provides much of the narration, via the character of Morgan, who is played, stunningly, by Mark H. Dold. The performer also doubles as Walter Poole, who, in the end, is the story's hero."

"...Paul Daigneault does a fantastic job of directing this work. He is able to keep the lengthy play moving quickly and visually interesting. Each move and beat of the play is clearly thought-out. The play is performed on a three-quarter thrust stage which can sometimes be difficult to work on as there's more possibility of action being blocked, but there were only one or two moments where I couldn't see because there was an actor was blocking my line of sight."
