Based on the enduring 1905 novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett (author of The Secret Garden), this musical adaptation of A Little Princess was written by Brian Crawley and Tony-nominated composer Andrew Lippa (Big Fish, The Addams Family, The Wild Party). Designed to delight adults and kids alike, this song-filled adaptation centers around Sara, a generous and inventive young girl, who's left at the mercy of a cruel headmistress after her father disappears searching for the mysterious city of Timbuktu. Though made to work as a servant in a boarding school, Sara finds within herself the heart of a princess.
