A magical peach! An incredible journey! Insect friends! It's all there and more in Boston Children's Theatre's (BCT) enchanting production of the beloved Roald Dahl family classic JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH. Performances will be held on March 17, 18, 24 and 25 at 2 pm at the Plaza Theatre at the Boston Center for the Arts.
JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH follows a young orphan boy and the charming crew of insects he befriends on an entertaining and hilarious trans-Atlantic journey aboard a gigantic piece of fruit. Audiences learn about the wickedness of some and the goodness of others as they follow James, the wise Old-Green-Grasshopper and the pessimistic Earthworm on their wildly fun magical adventure.
"We are thrilled to bring this wonderful children's book to life on our stage," said BCT Executive Producer Toby Schine. "The story is so familiar to generations of people.
