The Capitol Steps at Larcom Theatre

With jokes aimed at both ends of the political spectrum -- and pretty much all of the middle, too -- musical-comedy group The Capitol Steps has been eliciting laughs at democracy's expense since 1981. If you've ever wanted to see Barack Obama sing a show tune, Donald Trump sing a rock song and Vladimir Putin dance shirtless, this is the show for you. The Steps' stage show features numerous song parodies and skits, and the cast even includes some former Congressional staffers, whose firsthand experience helps make the jokes zing that much more.
