The Intergalactic Nemesis: Target Earth

The Intergalactic Nemesis: Target Earth

Rogers Center for the Performing Arts

In yet another example of nerds providing awesome entertainment, a sci-fi comic comes to life onstage as an irreverent vintage-style radio play in The Intergalactic Nemesis. As the action unfolds in colorful comic-book panels projected onto a giant screen, a trio of voice actors create dozens of characters, a Foley artist comes up with sound effects, and a keyboardist provides the dramatic score. Packed with pop-culture references, this gonzo homage to fantasy tropes is cool for your whole crew, no matter the age, and follows three adventurers battling to save the earth from a race of alien sludge monsters. Conan O'Brien is a huge fan of this company, while The Austinist described it as "totally nuts and a ton of fun." This creative company's also been featured on NPR, PBS and in The Wall Street Journal and The New York Post, which deemed its limited Broadway run "Great fun! [A] happily retro multimedia extravaganza."
