The Grand Parade (of the 20th Century)

The Grand Parade (of the 20th Century)

Paramount Center
559 Washington Street Boston

Music, dance, puppetry, visual projections and cirque-style wonders and aerial feats create a stunning kaleidoscopic tapestry in this theatrical collage inspired by the works of avant-garde artist Marc Chagall. Double Edge Theatre's The Grand Parade (of the 20th Century) contrasts iconic images of historic events like the moon landing, the Kennedy assassination and the fall of the Berlin Wall with Chagall's colorful and sometimes whimsical modernist paintings. Dubbed "a phantasmagoric wonderland" by the Washington Post, this acclaimed production comes to the main stage at Boston's Paramount Center.
