In the razor-sharp comedy The Atheist, Georgia Lyman stars as Augustine Early, a former trailer park rat who has clawed her way to notoriety as a celebrity journalist. Now she's all washed up and her last chance comes when she discovers dirt on a congressman and systematically destroys the politician's career and life in order to gain back her own lost fame. Written and directed by Ronan Noone, this Boston Playwrights' Theatre production takes the stage of the Odyssey Theatre.
