Reconsidering Hanna(h)

Reconsidering Hanna(h)

Boston Playwrights' Theatre
949 Commonwealth Ave Boston

An international journalist whose bluntness is part of her personality, Hanna is struggling to recover from her husband's violent death. After she accepts what appears to be a normal assignment, she becomes obsessed with uncovering the history of Hannah Dunston, who infamously was kidnapped by a Native American raiding party in 1697. Reconsidering Hanna(h) is a searing look at the stories of two women who begin to merge into a single portrait -- one that's been torn from the only world they know and inserted between civilization and wilderness.
