The Graduate

The Graduate

Arlington Friends of the Drama
22 Academy Street Arlington

"Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me." With such immortal lines, not to mention the most quoted single-word utterance in the history of the movies -- "plastics" -- The Graduate has been a part of our popular culture for decades, first with Charles Webb's 1963 novel and then in the classic 1967 film starring Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft. Now adapted for the stage by Terry Johnson, The Graduate's memorable dialogue continues to shine in this story about a recent college grad who embarks on an affair with the wife of his father's business partner, then falls in love with her daughter. The seduction comes to the stage of Arlington Friends of the Drama.
