Days of Atonement

Days of Atonement

Boston Center for the Arts
539 Tremont Street Boston

After their mother goes missing, four estranged sisters reunite to try and find her. All four are stubborn and strong-willed, and it doesn't take long before they begin to clash over professions, class and religious beliefs. Israeli playwright Hanna Azoulay Hasfari's Days of Atonement is a bitingly funny depiction of four powerful women at their most vulnerable, struggling to reconnect, forgive and forget. This production at the Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts shows that there's no hardball like family hardball.
