Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras on Parade Features Nearly 500 Young Musicians

Boston Symphony Hall
301 Massachusetts Avenue Boston

Be there when a joyful celebration of music, children, families and fun fills Boston Symphony Hall for the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras On Parade. Featuring 494 young musicians, the event is hosted and narrated by Christoper Tarjan, who narrated last year's performance of Profokiev's Peter and the Wolf, introducing audience members to the various instruments of the orchestra and what it means to be a performing musician. The concert culminates with a performance of Benjamin Britten's The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra from BYSO's most advanced orchestra.
