Come celebrate the tumultuous joys of live theater with A Man of No Importance, a musical from the same team behind the Tony-winning smash Ragtime. Set in 1960s Dublin, the musical follows an amateur theater group and their leader, a bus driver who's determined to stage Oscar Wilde's Salome at his church -- despite objections from church authorities. At the core of this funny musical is an emotional storyline about family, friendship and the redemptive power of live theater. Now presented at Boston's Calderwood Pavilion, this compelling story by playwright Terrence McNally brims with passion and humor, and features a gorgeous score of Irish-inspired music.
