When Molly, a divorced PR exec, returns to her childhood vacation home to retrieve an old memento, she encounters a time capsule of an entirely different sort in Dusk Rings a Bell. The souvenir in question is actually Ray, an old fling from her adolescent years, now working as a landscaper and caretaker. As they begin to renew their romance, Ray reveals a shocking crime in his past that left him incarcerated for ten years. What follows is a lyrical and poignant tale of the hopefulness of youth contrasted with the painful realities of life.
